Though still technically winter, February brings spectacularly bright spring weather and an explosion of blooms to the San Francisco Bay Area. While I don’t often photograph in visible light, the warm, old-fashioned hues of this day just felt right. Using a special blur lens and taking advantage of passing reflections, this dreamy look reminds me of sun-dappled afternoons in the orchard. © Rain Hayes
