A few hundred miles north and a world away from the sunny beaches of southern California, our Central and North Coast regions promise windswept cliffs, disorientingly dense fog, and plenty of dangerous adventures. I come here to enjoy the bracing wind, wander in solitude, and reconnect with the subtle details of the natural world.
